History Of Thanksgiving Day



Thanksgiving day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, a holiday in the United States to celebrate the feast held at Plymouth in 1621 by the Pilgrim's and members of the Wampanoag Indians and to thank God for a good harvest and surviving the winter. Traditional Thanksgiving meals include turkey and my favorite, pumpkin pie. They also include cranberry sauce, stuffing or dressing; and gravy. squash; sweet potatoes,corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, bread rolls.

For dessert, pies are usually served, like, pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, mincemeat pie, sweet potato pie and chocolate meringue pie.
